Page names on Wikipedia give an indication as to what is contained on the page. A page may be part of the actual content (such as an article, category or multimedia) or for the administration and construction of Wikipedia.

Some pages have a prefix to indicate to which Wikipedia namespace the article belongs. Article pages do not have a prefix but non-article pages usually begin with a prefix, for example; "Help:" "File:", and "Category:". These prefixes form part of the URL and the pages title.

Name of a Wikipedia article. The wikilink for that article is Salvo_D'Acquisto, and the URL is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvo_D'Acquisto. Wikipedia pages which are not articles are prefixed with a "namespace" identifier. For articles, the "basename" is the full page name.
