Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions), or in "articles for deletion" debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process.
This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions on the template or on your talk page.
Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.
| To contest deletions that have have already been discussed (in particular, at Articles for deletion), or that are likely to be controversial, please make a request at Wikipedia:Deletion review instead. |

The person is enjoying high fame these days because of his bold stance on the ongoing Baloch conflict in his oped pieces. He is a regular contributor to many major newspapers of the Pakistan on the worsening situation of Balochistan. he is regarded as an expert on the Baloch issues and geography. So i am requesting the undeletion of this article as if wikipedia is not for such people then go with your policy of filling it with the biographies of dirty politicians -Mr Kundi (talk) 20:30, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
From looking at the last version before deletion, the article had a few phrases that could be misconstrued as promotional, but certainly wasn't a giant ad. The product is popular and unique enough in its field. I can undelete it myself, but thought I would see what the consensus was. -Chuq (talk) 02:26, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

this article is for a 19 year old institute which has created an unique record, having alumni all across the globe needs a neutral review.
Non-free image, hard to replace. Deleted for no fair use rational, which can be added. If there are two versions, and the reduced-size version is under 300px (maximum thumbnail size) please restore the larger version so I can modify to 300px. -▫ JohnnyMrNinja 05:17, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
http://distrowatch.com/index.php?dataspan=1 Page Hit Ranking :-) Work in full swing, the distribution develops, works excellent (Mageia 2 RC), it uses a lot of people. But despite this page in English-language Wikipedia removed. It's no secret that Mageia - a direct descendant of Linux Mandrake, in contrast to the modern Mandriva. Simply situation similar to OpenOffice.org / LibreOffice :-)
P.S. I used Google Translate, do not know much English. -46.185.61.78 (talk) 08:13, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

(Info. seems to be incomplete.) Ron Craddock, b. London, 1933. TV producer/director at BBC mainly during 1970s, 1980s. Produced the largest number of episodes of 'Z Cars' of any producer, nearly 300. Was the initiating producer of 'Angels', commissioneing the first writers and directors, and engageing first casts ... alongside producing the first 44 (50') episodes. Also produced ‘A Legacy’, a novel written by Sybille Bedford (‘a masterpiece of English prose’ per wiki. ref. and 'an orphan'); ‘Charters & Caldicott’ by (X ref.) Keith Waterhouse; based on the characters of Hitchcock’s ‘The Lady Vanishes’; ‘The Consultant’, dramatised by (X ref.) Alan Plater from novel by John McNeil; 'Penmarric' the novel by Susan Howatch (X ref.): ‘Nightmare Man’, (became a a cult horror video) Douglas Camfield, director, (X ref). also several other multi episode serials. Also directed ‘Vendetta’, The First Lady’, Troubleshooters‘, ’Dr. Finlay’s Casebook’, ’Z Cars’, ’Angels’, ’East Enders’, ’District Nurse’, ’Rockliffe’s Folly’. Ext. ref. IMBd.com
You recently deleted the page Shazzie which I believe to be in error. Your comments were that "it was self promotional and that you can't call yourself a TV presenter if all you've done is record an 8 min clip for an obscure…" This information is incorrect. Shazzie is a writer, TV presenter and recording artist. She has contracts with publishers both in the UK as well as the USA. Her TV show is in the final editing stages and is due to be aired soon throughout Europe. If you take issue with the TV show not being live yet, then of course remove that and it can be added again once aired, and even query anything that you find "self promotional". Shazzie is a recognised published author and I am requesting that you please undelete the page. I look forward to your reply. Thanks for your time. -Scribble64 (talk) 16:04, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

N8VEM home brew computing project is a volunteer community, not a business. "advertising" is an invalid basis for removal since it is a non-commercial group -Lynchaj (talk) 16:31, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
I have no idea why this article was deleted. Nicolas Kent was Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre in London between 1984- 2012 and appears in WHO's WHO. He was profiled in the Saturday interview in The Guardian in February this year, and the Daily Telegraph and the Times in November last year. He was made the first ever Freeman of Brent in May of this year. The article about him was accurate, and he is mentioned in many other Wikipedia entries. He won the TMA Special Achievement Award, and the Peter Brook Empty Stage Special Award 2011 as as the Liberty Human Rights Arts Award 2011. -90.0.51.19 (talk) 21:45, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
As a user talk page it is not eligible for U1, It appears that the editor may (or may not) be thinking about a WP:RTV request and since the editor is still editing this needs to be restored and the correct procedure followed.
I have asked the deleting admin Anthony Bradbury but it looks like they may be away at this time. -Mtking (edits) 02:45, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Did not have enough time to add information why this band is important. In the middle of edit my article was deleted, I did not save all the written info with all codes and symbols and basic band info. If by speedy deletion they mean delete while you edit, then they did just that! -Karurisu (talk) 14:31, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
It has just come to my attention that the Multiply (website) page was deleted. I found a discussion from 2006 discussing deletion with a resolution of disambiguating that Multiply.com is different than multiply (as in multiplication), but I couldn't find any reason given there as to why it was deleted in 2010 or 2011 (I'm not sure when it was actually removed). The website/company is still going strong and is one of the few (if not only, though some of the shop sites are slowly becoming more social) social networking sites that enables people to sell products (their own or others) through a fully functional social networking system. The company is also moving its offices to Southeast Asia which I think shows an interesting shift in how social media is being used in various places around the globe. I don't work for Multiply. I've just been using the site since 2004 and was surprised to see that though it was the first to have a feed (like Facebook's feed, only Multiply had it years before them) and though it was the first to include audio and video replies (among several other firsts) it's not even got a mention on the social networking list page any more. What gives? -Barefootmeg (talk) 15:10, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, Tikiwont! I'll try to get it updated soon. Barefootmeg (talk) 22:28, 23 May 2012 (UTC)barefootmeg
Someone on IRC helped me restore the page Astral Projection (band) (or perhaps Astral Projection (group)) to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Oskar_Liljeblad/Astral_Projection_(band). I have since then made one reference, added a sentence, and added another reference. I could manually update the page but the person who helped me said it would be good if the history could be restored as well, and that would require an administrator. -Oskar Liljeblad (talk) 19:39, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
